5 Super Sweet Ways To Show Your Love This Valentine's Day.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. – Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

Even though Valentine's Day is a special day for love, I believe love should be expressed every day and as often as we can, don't you agree? I thought I would share with you some ways that I like to decorate my home and some sweet little treats.

Let’s have a look.

1). Red, Pink, and Cream.

Have a scavenger hunt around your house and gather your reds and pinks and let's bring them all out for some Valentine's decorating. It can be anything from pink dishes, red pillows, throw blankets and candles. Put them together and let them shine. If you are decorating your table this February 14th, consider some gold flatware to compliment these colors. This trend of gold is becoming quite popular for table settings; they really do look elegant.

2. Everything Heart Shaped.

Anything with hearts on it screams Valentine's day. I fell in love with these adorable paper straws and couldn't resist them. Little hearts, stripes, polka dots, and crowns are so perfect as well. These straws are safe for our environment and are so fun for the kids (who I am kidding, for us too).

How about this charming little welcome mat for your front entrance? Can it get any sweeter?

These delightful heart-shaped sugar cookies are a perfect way to show your sentiments of love and are so pretty for a display. Plus, they taste yummy.

3. Love

Say "I love you" with some matching mugs. Surprise your honey in bed with a nice cup of coffee in one of these. I know the way to my guy's heart is with a warm cup of Joe.

4. Flowers

I don't have to tell you how much I love fresh flowers. Receiving a beautiful bouquet of blush pink roses are certainly a lovely gesture. Roses are a bit of an investment at Valentine's Day, as they should be - they are beautiful. I like to decorate my home with flowers for this season of love, and tend to lean more towards Tulips, they are just as pretty. Prices are reasonable and they look so amazing in my vintage jar.

5. Fresh Fruit and Candy.

Sweet treats are always the quickest way to win the hearts of those you love. This time of year you will still get to enjoy plump, fresh strawberries from your local grocery store. You can get creative and dip them into chocolate. I tend to keep them as-is, on my island displayed atop a pretty stand and watch everyone grab one as they walk by. Healthy, juicy and so tasty. I did make sure to head to my local bulk barn and get my kid's favorites - cinnamon heart candies. You have to have these little enjoyments every now again.

So there you have it. I hope you love these cute ways to get your home looking "Love-ly".

Happy Valentine's Day.
